Master degree of Theology (M.TH) in Christian Counseling, North Central Theological Seminary. Board-Certified Christian Counselor, National Association of Christian Counselors. Certified Divorce & Life Coach, IAP College. Certified SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator. Ordained Minister, Universal Life Church Ministries.
Dr. Gethers is very active in the community volunteering and mentoring. Most recently, she was appointed Board-Chairwoman at Women of Refined Gold. Dr. Gethers also serves on the Board of Directors at One Place Family Justice Center focusing on domestic violence and abuse.
In 2024, Dr. Gethers received the Community Leadership Award on Mental Health Awareness, and Impact Award Honoree. Most recently, Dr. Gethers has been recognized for her outstanding contributions as a Humanitarian, and her Philanthropic work in the community. Due to all of her accomplishments, and achievements, she has been inducted in the “Marquis Who’s Who In America 2024”.
In 2023, Dr. Gethers received the Joe Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. She also received Public Speaker (Orator) Award for Excellence in Public Speaking.
